Loba Chemie was established in 1975 and currently operates from its base in Tarapur. The company manufactures and markets laboratory analytical reagents and chemicals and is recognised world-wide for its quality in operation. Apart from special application products, Loba Chemie specialises in the production of inorganic salts, organic chemical products, high purity acids etc. The company manufactures products in four broad categories - Analytical, dyes and stains, custom synthesis, acid and base synthesis. The range of products within analytical include, HPLC buffer salts, AAS and GC standards, TLC plates, etc. Indicators, dyes, stains, etc. are part of the dyes and stains category. Custom products to suit the particular need of the user are also provided by the company. Organic solvents, bases etc. form part of the acids, bases and solvents category.
