Polymerase chain reaction, i.e. PCR, is a common DNA amplification technique performed in every molecular biology laboratory. The technique often requires havinga PCRworkstation, which provides a secure and contamination free space while preparing to run a PCR reaction. These stations are made of polycarbonate, polypropylene or any other suitable material which is chemically inert. Some versions come with laminar air flow and UV source to minimize contamination and to sterilize the station. The PCR workstationcan be a unibody design i.e. no joints or gaps available in various dimensions.
