Dodeca G-Minus 24-DE738-1PK is 12-in-one multi disc, referred to as an Dodeca disc under HiMedia catalogue. It is designed for testing antimicrobial susceptibility of bacteria for 12 different antibiotics at a time. Each pack of DE738-1PK contains 10 flat circular rings; each ring containing 8 equidistance arms at the outer periphery and 4 equidistance arms at the inner periphery . At the end of the each arm, there is one antibiotic disc with 6mm diameter. Each disc is saturated with a different antibiotic and the concentration and symbol of the respective antibiotic printed on it. Each disc is at least 24mm apart from the other disc. Dodeca G-Minus 24-DE738-1PK discs are ideal to test Gram Negative organisms. DE738-1PK disc can fit on 150 mm media plates. Generally used on Mueller Hinton Agar (M173) plates.

Storage and shelf life: It is advised to store the discs always at -20C after opening. The disc loses its stability at higher temperature (45C).
