ELISA Blocking Buffer is a laboratory grade buffer used in immunological experiments. The buffer is formulated using Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) containing 0.02% Sodium azide as preservative and with Gelatin. In ELISA after the secondary antibodies bind the leftover spaces are occupied by the buffer. This minimizes the non-specific binding and prevents background noise generation during the analysis. Store the stainer at 4-degree Celsius temperature for long term uses.
