GeNei DNA RAPD Application Teaching Kit is used for providing a better understanding to learners. DNA fingerprinting has a wide array of application such as in forensics, paternity analysis, microorganism characterizations, plant biotech etc. The fingerprinting technique uses RAPD technique i.e. Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA wherein the different DNA sequences are amplified randomly at unknown locations. This amplifies the DNA sequence in the genome at various positions. The variations in genome results into different number and size of DNA fragments showing DNA polymorphism. The kit contains items sufficient to carry 5 successful experiments. The kit comes with Taq DNA polymerase, 10X Buffer, template DNA for amplification, dNTP's reaction, Restriction digestion enzymes, Primers, PCR Tubes, PAGE buffer, Loading buffer, Ammonium persulfate, TEMED, DNA ladder, and Manual.
