The KBr Die Set is the most popular and unique die used for producing pallets. The die is made of stainless steel which provides the most needed strength. The machine is precision derived and requires the use of the hydraulic press to produce the KBr pellets. Once the pellet is produced using the hydraulic press and is inserted into a slide holder which later inserted into sample slide of an infrared spectrophotometer. The Die set allows making a pallet of 13mm size, however other sizes like 10mm, 20mm. The set is enclosed in a powder coated metallic cover.
