Meat Peptone, also known as HM peptone is supplied by HiMedia. It is available in the form of a light yellow to brownish yellow homogenous free flowing powder, having characteristic odour but not putrescent. pH is in the range of 6.0 to 7.0. Store between 10-30C in tightly closed container and away from bright light.

This product is used for the routine and mass scale cultivation of organisms for antibiotics, enzymes etc. production. It is also use for general purpose culture media for routine cultivation of a variety of microorganisms.
