Sample buffer for SDS PAGE is a laboratory grade chemical used in gel electrophoresis experiments. The buffer is used for lading the protein sample. It contains SDS which denatures the protein, mercaptoethanol to remove secondary structures, Bromophenol blue as dye to detect the protein running over gel, Glycerol is used to increase the density of the sample making it heavier and easy to load into the wells. The buffer is available in 10ml volume and is ready to use.
