1. Tristix is a test strip used for semi quantitative estimation of glucose protein and pH in urine sample. 2. Tristix is a disposable, ready to use plastic strip on which are affixed 3 reagent areas for testing : Glucose, Protein & pH. 3. When dipped in urine sample the strip colour is read visually, within 30 sec., requiring no additional laboratory equipment for testing. 4. The Tristix test strips are packed in an air tight plastic bottle containing a dessicant.
