Very Large Model is a product by Genei. Agarose Gel electrophoresis is a technique which is used for the analysis of DNA and RNA. In this technique, DNA or RNA is loaded into a semi-solid gel phase made of agarose. When an electric field is applied across the gel, the biomolecules move to the oppositely charged electrode. In this process, the fragments of the DNA or RNA separate according to their sizes and molecular weight to give distinct bands on the gel. The gel is placed in a tank containing an electrophoresis buffer. Very Large Model is a comprehensive system which provides all the materials required for gel casting and electrophoresis.
